Welcome to Potomac Grove Psychiatry. As physicians and psychiatrists, we are committed to helping you get the treatment to help you overcome the psychiatric problems that brought you to this office. Our therapeutic strategy is holistic.
We believe that the right combination of psychotherapy, healthy behaviors and, at times, medication can help your body and mind health.
At Potomac Grove Psychiatry, we are aware of the high cost of health care. We encourage you to talk with your doctor/therapist about developing a treatment plan that meets your mental health needs and is affordable for you.
It is in your best interest to learn about your insurance reimbursement for mental health insurance and to decide what you can afford to spend for the cost of your care.
Please read the following information about our office procedures and fees.
Getting Off to A Smooth Start
- As result of COVID-19 effective April 1, 2020, all visits will be either virtual or via telephone.
- Send your completed new patient paperwork to admin1@pgpmd.com. All paperwork must be received in pdf format at least 48 hours prior to appointment.
- Payment for your session will be charged using a virtual processor the day of your visit. Your receipt will be sent via email by our virtual credit card processor.
- MasterCard, Visa, are accepted
We will email you a superbill to submit to your insurance. We encourage you to retain your superbill statements. There will be a charge to reprint them again at a later time.
Charges Related to Your Treatment
- Telephone consultation with patient’s healthcare clinicians.
- Fee based on level of complexity (low, medium, high).
- Telephone consultation with patient.
- Fee based on level of complexity (low, medium, high).
- Missed appointment or a cancelled appointment made less than 2 business days before appointment.
- Fee is the charge for the session that was missed.
- Call to the Pharmacy: fee based on level of complexity (low, high).
