Karen Phinney, nurse psychotherapist (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse – Certified) has over 20 years experience in the mental health field. She specializes in individual therapy, utilizing an approach in which the client actively participates. She works with clients both in short-term and long-term therapy; utilizing talk therapy, behavior modification, and guided imagery.

Karen also has specialized training and experience as a group therapist. She leads an ongoing women’s group in which group members focus on their personal relationships and self-growth.
